Industry Regulation

We are passionate advocates for good conduct and increased regulation in the industry.

We are active members of all of our industry's professional bodies, with many of our leadership team occupying leadership roles within these organisations. More about our team can be found here.

We are directly involved in supporting the Enforcement Conduct Board and CIVEA with our expertise as they review of the role of enforcement in public debt collection. This review will shape a fair and transparent industry for all, and our participation and valuable contribution to the process helps to ensure we are at the forefront of adapting to and delivering important and ongoing change within our industry.

Social Value

CDER has achieved Social Value Quality Mark Level 1 accreditation, demonstrating that we deliver, and report on, our social value commitments.

We take pride in our diverse range of industry and local sponsorships. Each sponsorship, including our support for the Armed Forces Covenant, is a testament to the value we place on every community we serve.

Annual funding for a Citizens Advice worker in Barnsley, since 2021.

Financial donations to a number of charities including Roehampton Community Shed, Shelter in Barnsley, Lambeth Council’s Changing Lives Fund, and ‘Drive Forward’ in Lambeth

Donation of van hire and volunteers to support FACT Cancer community Charity and Hope4All in Sunderland with collections and deliveries on a monthly basis during 2022 and 2023
