Position Overview:

This role supports the Audit and Compliance department in maintaining its high standards of management of ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environment), ISO45001 (Health & Safety), ISO27001 (Information Security) and ISO50001 (Energy). Providing assurance that key business risks and obligations are managed effectively.

To provide an efficient and consistent administration service, ensuring high and accurate standards of work at all times. Operating under strict regulatory and legislative regulations and following internal procedures and systems.

The role requires a competent Administrator who can focus on the day to day administration, and will be expected to deal with all basic issues that arise, but also have the knowledge and capability to recognise more complex issues, which may need to be discussed and resolved in conjunction with compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the Audit Schedule and collation of evidence for internal and external audit, including those undertaken by HSEQSmart, QMS, BSI, CHAS, DVLA, OSI, and others as required
  • Review Audit findings and report as appropriate, updating the NCR where applicable
  • Maintenance of company registers; Risk & Opportunities, Non-Conformance, Supplier Assurance
  • Maintenance of the Health & Safety Schedule and completion of associated tasks to include, review of Fire marshals, First Aiders, H&S communications, Risk Assessments, Service & Maintenance of equipment, workplace checklist
  • Liaise with HSEQ service providers ensuring maintenance programmes are maintained and best in value
  • Ad-hoc maintenance of Health & Safety signage and instruction
  • Updating the monthly HSEQ Management Review report
  • Monitoring and recording energy consumption across all sites, liaising with site management, finance and fleet department as appropriate to obtain necessary information for carbon reporting
  • Maintenance of the Supplier Assurance programme, to include contact with suppliers to request appropriate evidence/completion of risk questionnaire
  • Liaison with Data Interchange and DVLA and Process department to ensure all Client VQ4 DVLA enquiries are authorised by the Client and DVLA

Introduction

Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, the Customer Care Assistant is based in London and is responsible for the day to day administration of customer care queries as well as handling low level complaints. In order to carry out the role you will liaise with the Legal and Compliance team based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that incoming emails are answered in a timely manner and that responses are in line with company guidelines and procedures and client SLA times
  • Ensure that customer care responses adhere to all applicable internal and external guidelines
  • Where needed contact customers directly in order to ensure that their query has been resolved

Introduction

Client Officers provide a vital role for CDER group in supporting the Client Team Manager and Client Account Managers in ensuring the delivery of a first-rate service to our clients. The Client Officer will provide day to day support to our clients through telephone and email contact and undertake various administrative duties to support our clients’ needs and requests. Based in Central London the role demands exceptional communication skills and attention to detail ensuring that our clients demands are met and carried out in an accurate and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone, email and web-access support to our clients ensuring client requests are recorded and cases updated accordingly or escalated and monitored for timely resolution
  • Review and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports to clients
  • Facilitate the production of ad-hoc client reports, special requests and statistical information
  • Monitor the timely dispatch of client remittances
  • Ensure invoice and remittance queries are responded to correctly and without delay

Introduction

This is new and important role based in our Bolton office and reports into the Senior Manager Welfare & Customer Service. This role is responsible for Supervising and the Continuous Improvement of the Financial Assessment activities and process undertaken by an expanded Welfare Team. Your energy, can do attitude, and excellent people management skills will be essential to maintaining CDER at the forefront of our industry in the Fair, skillful and effective financial assessment and treatment of Vulnerable Customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager Welfare & Customer Service, Director of Welfare & Customer Care, and in harmony with your fellow Welfare Supervisor, to design a highly effective financial assessment process to treat our customers consistently and fairly, in line with client mandates and to support vulnerable customers to repay their debt
  • Develop, grow, and manage a team Financial Assessment Assistants within the Welfare Team supporting them in all aspects of Financial Assessment
  • Carry out 121’s and performance reviews with the Welfare Assistants – Financial Assessment.
  • Working closely with your fellow Supervisor and Management to contribute to the success of the Welfare Team at CDER
  • Dealing with written correspondence received into the Bolton office, managing Zen Desk welfare queue, referrals from our call center agents or enforcement agents, liaising with third party debt advice agencies and dealing with arrangement reviews to drive sustainable arrangements to deliver on our Fairness Framework
  • Review bank statements, benefit claims and vulnerability proofs received from our customers to accommodate payment plans- in line with the process agreed under the first bullet above
  • Depending on the process design monitor and manage the use of the budget calculator in the completion of affordability assessments or equivalent solution agreed
  • Providing reports on volume of cases, nature, and outcome of enquiries to the Senior Welfare and Customer Service Manager and Director of Welfare & Customer Care as required
  • Ensure cases referred to the Welfare Team are handled in accordance with our Fairness Framework and Vulnerability Strategy in line the agreed processes for Financial Assessment and Review
  • Correspond with third party debt management companies to arrange payments
  • Ensure the timely response and resolution of telephone referrals from call center agents, customers, enforcement agents and debt advice agencies
  • Ensure the correct process is followed for the engagement and review of potentially vulnerable cases.
  • Correct and timely Case management of arrangements with vulnerable customers by the team.
  • Monitor and manage referrals to debt advice agencies in conjunction with your fellow Welfare Supervisor.
  • Support the Specialist Welfare & Escalations Officer, Customer Care Team and Complaint’s Manager with complex cases and escalations

Introduction

The Audit and Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements and that business performance is maintained. Monitoring compliance and managing and supporting the CDER internal audit team on a day to day basis is the main focus of this role.

Reporting to the Head of Audit and Compliance, the postholder will contribute to the development of existing audit process and systems across the Group and will assist in their implementation and review, ensuring that all audit functions in the Group are undertaken in a consistent manner, with priorities established by adopting a risk-based approach. The role is predominately based in CDER’s Bolton office but will require ad-hoc travel to and from other CDER Group companies and sites across England and Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day leadership and management of the CDER Group Audit department. The department comprises assistants and team supervisors over multiple sites, conducting Call Centre and Enforcement Agent audits in accordance with agreed risks and priorities
  • Day to day management of audit volume in line with business and client KPI’s
  • Ensure all escalated complaint audit reviews of Call Centre, BWV and audio are undertaken in a timely manner ensuring that outcome reports are clear and concise and address all aspects of the complaint
  • Identify key issues and trends through audits and complaints that may require increased focus in daily audits
  • Contribute to the development of the CDER Group Audit teams ensuring that they are provided with clear leadership and support, undertake monthly 1-2-1s, manage all annual leave and sickness in accordance with CDER Group policies
  • Prepare and present monthly audit and compliance reports for the Head of Audit & Compliance
  • Prepare and present a monthly audit and compliance report to key contact center stakeholders
  • Play an active role in delivering excellent customer service and embedding the businesses Fairness Charter across the group and monthly management meetings to drive continuous improvement across the business
  • Working with the Head of Audit & Compliance to have an active role in developing and implementing future strategies and initiatives and the achievement of the annual CDER Group business plan
  • Assist in various activities on the successful retention of all existing ISO and PCI accreditations ensuring that effective, proactive plans are implemented and managed to ensure successful achievement of accreditation
  • Maintain the continued compliance for accessing DVLA keeper and vehicle data, including assisting in DVLA audits undertaken by the DVLA to ensure CDER Group companies are complying with the DVLA’s explicit requirements for access
  • Keep informed of any planned legislative or procedural changes within the industry and best practice for audit within the wider public sector and ensure initiatives and new requirements are implemented within the business accordingly

Introduction

We are looking for a HR Recruitment Apprentice to join our team and being their HR career. This role provides administrative HR support to the business and ensures an efficient and effective secretarial, administrative and clerical service as part of the HR Team. The successful candidate will also undertake other tasks as required as part of this team.

The role is permanent full time working 35 hours Monday – Friday based in Darlington and reports to the Group HR Manager. The role will be compromised of 80% on the job training and 20% off the job training.

Introduction

The Business Process Department is responsible for managing various business projects for the group such as contract mobilisations, system migrations and innovation/improvement projects.

In addition to projects, the team (“BPI”) provide 1st level technical support for the Edge collections system and also design, execute, measure, monitor and control business processes specified by the management team that deliver the service to our clients and customers. They do this by configuring Edge (and other systems) to deliver automated processes, working with our suppliers and other stakeholders.

The team work collaboratively with our software development team (Haulmont) and IT department and often works closely with all other departments. We also ensure that the company meets its service delivery objectives, complying with regulations and contracts.

The team set up new client and supplier contracts on the relevant systems. We are also responsible for improving business processes both proactively and reactively, and help to implement changes in support of the company’s strategic goals, such as improved collection rates, compliance with new requirements, and enhancing business process quality and reliability.

Technical specialists report to the Head of Business Process & Improvement. This person performs a range of daily administrative duties that are of a responsible and sometimes confidential nature. Accuracy and attention to detail is important for these duties to minimise risk of mistakes that could have a high impact on the business, customers and clients.

Supported by your colleagues and using your strong problem-solving skills and experience of using Edge, you will handle complex aspects of our service, configure our system and lead on departmental challenges and system issues. Strong team working skills are also essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage or participate in the delivery of projects
