Responsibilities

  • To ensure that CDER maximise the collection of all NDR debts received from our clients. The role is based within our internal enforcement operation based in our Darlington office. You will be responsible for all NDR cases from their receipt to their ultimate return to the client including verifying address details, company status and monitoring the timeliness of enforcement visits.
  • You will be required to liaise with our Enforcement Agents, Enforcement Support, our Clients, Client Managers and Debtors by phone and email.
  • Responsibilities
  • Monitoring the progress of all NDR cases, in particular the timeliness of enforcement visits and any follow up visits required
  • Monitoring “On Hold” NDR cases and ensuring that any queries that resulted in the hold are resolved quickly and efficiently and that the case progresses
  • Making outbound calls to enforcement agents to establish timelines and the status of NDR cases where this information is not available on Edge
  • Making outbound calls to client NDR departments to clarify points that the enforcement agent may have encountered when visiting and meeting the debtor
  • Make outbound calls to debtors when the case falls outside of EA control, to maximise revenue.
  • To handle calls from enforcement agents and occasionally from our clients and debtors
  • Carry out ad-hoc company searches and follow required trace procedures to establish the status of companies if and when required
  • Ensuring that cases where a previously agreed payment arrangement is broken are progressed to an enforcement visit
  • Ensure cases are returned correctly and with full informative notes for the client
  • To provide a monthly report to the enforcement support manager detailing client NDR performance in general and highlighting matters of concern, including individual enforcement agents’ suitability to NDR enforcement
  • To keep up to date regarding business rates legislation, process, procedures and policies
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required and compatible with and/or arising from those listed above or directed by the Enforcement Support Manager
